In this game he looks kind of mean and sly, but apparently he was a good leader. Being a clone of Age of Conquest, Augustus might be one for the history buffs, compared to the fantasy-themed predecessor title. You will get plenty of wild action here for sure, but Neon Valley has sadly missed the opportunity of improving upon the math model, and offer a more decent potential.

Augustus is basically a reskin of Age of Conquest from the same developer, as it comes with the exact same features and math model. Neon Valley has had some success with the predecessor game, so it’s no wonder that they want to cash in more. The original game even borrowed the main characters from Forbidden Throne, so this developer is no stranger to short cuts.

Anyway, the wild reels are entertaining enough here also, and they can lead to decent base game payouts. The 1,000x potential is a bit low for a medium volatile game in our view, but the upside is that it seems very achievable because of all the high paying wild reels. It’s always nice to have options like you get with the 3 different bonus rounds. However, the golden middle way is probably the best choice in the long run.
