10000 Wonders 10k Ways slot REVIEW

10000 Wonders 10k Ways Review10,000 Wonders 10k Ways is only the second installment featuring ReelPlay’s trademarked 10K Ways engine. However, we hardly believe cloning Hypernova 10K Ways is the best way to hype this already somewhat underwhelming attribute. Sure, with that many win ways, and a Cascading Wins mechanic to boot, anything is theoretically possible in the base game. At least to the tune of 5,622x your stake, which is the capped potential.

Still, most savvy players understand that the real juice is usually squeezed in the bonus round, and the 10K Ways makes no difference in a hold-and-win style Respins feature. The Bonus Respins feature, as it’s called here, is a very run of the mill effort, with jackpots up to 2,000x your stake. The Infinity Reels engine has been a moderate success so far, and we don’t think 10K Ways will supersede it.

10,000 Wonders 10k Ways Features

The Temple Wild symbol will only slide in on the top horizontal reel, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations. The wild holds no value of its own, while the 4 premium picture symbols pay between 2 and 100 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins. All winning symbols are removed and replaced by the Cascading Wins mechanic, and this feature goes on as long as you keep winning.

You trigger the Bonus Respins feature when you land 6+ Lamp cash scatters anywhere in view. The triggering cash symbols become sticky on a cleared grid, and you start with 3 respins in your tally. Any new non-blank symbols that land become sticky as well, and this resets the respins counter to 3 again. The feature goes on until you run out of respins, or you fill the grid with sticky symbols.

The cash lamp symbols are worth between 1 and 100 x your stake, and in addition you can also land 4 different Diamond jackpot symbols. The red, pink, green and blue diamond awards a jackpot prize of 10, 50, 250 and 2,000 x your stake, respectively, and you can land more than one instance of the 2 lowest-value diamonds.

The 200 Spins 10,000 Wonders 10k Ways Experience

Nothing very exciting happened for us in the base game, so you can safely skip to the 1:38-mark, where we finally trigger the Bonus Respins feature after plenty of teasers. The streak respins style bonus round plays out for the remainder of the 4-minute highlights video, and you can check it all out by hitting the play button below.

Review Summary

If the 10K Ways version of Hypernova Megaways came across as a bit superfluous, what to say about a straight-up reskin clone of that effort? The Aladdin theme is colorful, cartoonish and more down to earth, but ReelPlay could have scored some points if they upped the potential to match the 10K-infused title. Instead, they’ve decided to go with more or less the same 5,622x max win, although a tad reduced, perhaps as an attempt to escape the reskin stamp.

It’s also a bit strange that the whole trademarked 10K Ways engine is of no use in the hold-and-win style bonus round. It works like a Megaways engine on cruise control in the base game however, making it theoretically possible to crack the max win at any time. In practice, however, you’re most likely gonna need the top 2,000x jackpot to come close, and overall the feature does nothing to stick out from the many similar efforts being churned out every month.

If you appreciate 10,000 Wonders 10k Ways you should also try:

Hypernova 10K Ways - is the original release from ReelPlay, and it rides on the success of their Hypernova series. It’s basically identical to the regular Megaways version though, except for the fixed 10K ways setup. It’s also very similar to the game at hand, of course, except for the cosmic gemstone theme.

10,000 Wishes - is an Alchemy Gaming jackpot slot powered by Microgaming, and it comes with 5 reels and 10 paylines. Power Spins come with 3x3 mega symbols in the middle positions, and you can win prizes up to 10,000x your stake from the Jackpot Wheel.

10001 Nights - is an arabian-infused Red Tiger release that comes with 5x4 reels and 20 betlines. It’s all about filling oil lamp meters to trigger modifiers like mega wilds, multipliers, symbol removal and random wilds, and you can win up to 10,347x your stake in the bonus round.
